The whole tour takes an hour to complete and goes winding up the passage and through the stairways and the lighted chambers. The entire cavern is traversed except for a few defunct passageways. This cave is believed to be connected other caves from the underground lake at the end of the caverns. Before 1974,divers explored this sea area and saw that that lake goes up to 25 feet back and 65 feet down.
The visitor’s centre is a stone building from where you would descend to a depth of around 175 feet. This lovely cavern tour with its odd shaped formations, the underwater lake and the fragile strip of rock , and the swimming pool make up the formation of landscape in the park. The Frozen Castle and the Bridal Column are two important formations here in the caverns. You could also get to see the blind fish and the cave crayfish if you are lucky enough.
