    The Colorado River has a dam built on both sides forming Lake Powell in Utah and Lake Mead located on the border of Arizona and Nevada. The lake gets its name from Dr Elwood Mead. Lake Mead National Recreation Area saw major development in 1935 with the Boulder Dam completion. This dam was later christened Hoover Dam, after the United States’ 31st president. This dam is situated across Black Canyon, which is 25 miles apart from Las Vegas. The dam’s construction and entry of thousands of workers legalized gambling in Nevada.     Every year during the Celebration that happens on Times Square New Years Eve Manhattan, new york city. There is a time ball  which was made by Waterford crystals and the many electrical lights. They raised all the way to the top of a pole  on the times square building. These are then  lowered to the mark where the coming of the new year is held.  After all of this, the ball descends dramatically  for about eighty feet. This happens for about one minutes and  then the ball comes to rest at the bottom of the pole exactly at twelve midnight. There is a billboard  that is managed by Toshiba that is directly below the ball , this billboard counts down till twelve.     When you are just about three hours from the West of Washington DC, you should know that West Virginia is altogether a completely different environment; over here there are about eighty percent of the place is covered by greenery. And the color is usually like ‘fall’. There are many visitors who come here and begin to discover the Panhandle on the east.     In fact this place also looks over the Hudson River. When you look at this place from a different stretch, you would see that the titanic has docked and even already set off in something that could be related to a fatal voyage.  There is a freight line now in the meat packing district and this entire place has been transformed into a high line park that lies between the twelfth and the twentieth streets.
